MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. An infant was burnt to death and four laborers sustained burn injuries when fire broke out in a hut in Deh 140, village Ghulam Ali Talpure, near Mirwah Gorchani town on Saturday night. Report received that fire broke out in a hut during preparation of tea which engulfed the other huts as result sugarcane laborers residing in those huts tried to save their lives but a one and half years old child was burnt to death and four laborers sustained burn injuries rushed to rural health center Mirwah Gorchani for medical treatment. Their names could not be ascertained. Total about 50 huts were burnt to ashes. Laborers and villagers extinguished the fire on self help basis while fire brigade vehicle was reached very late on the spot. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Vice president of Sindh abadgar board SAB Mirpurkhas chapter Haji Abdul Ghafoor Maher advocate has strongly condemned the irrigation authorities for releasing the water only for drinking purpose in Mithrao canal as result wheat and other cros on lakhs of acres would be destroyed. In a press statement issued here on Sunday. He said that there was acute need of irrigation water for wheat and other crops at this time as they were already deprived of water for last one and half month because of Nara canal was closed for annual desiltng and repair purpose. He accused that director Nara canal and other officers were supplying the very less quantity of water in the head of Mithrao canal cuasing devastating the crops while human being and animals were avoiding to drink that dirty and bad smell water. He said that injustice was always made with Mithrao canal in supplying the water as due to mismanagement of irrigation department’s officers in distribution of water rotation programme was continued for last a year in Mithrao division as result over a lakhs of fertile land had been changed barren land. He demanded the government to ensure more than supply of irrigation water in Nara canal head and end the injustice with Mithrao canal in distribution of water and ensure proper supply of irrigation water till tail end abadgar and end also the rotation programme. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Ameer Jamaat e Islami Mirpurkhas Lala Noor Mohammad has accused that dangerous face of USA has been uncovered following the decision of USA court against Dr Aafia Siddique despite proving false witnesses presented in the court against her. He was speaking at the protest demonstration held here on Sunday outside the Madina Masjid to protest against the USA decision against Dr Aafia Siddique. He said that for replacing the attention of Pakistani people from Dr Aafia Siddique verdict, after two days, USA had made arrangements as bomb blasted in Karachi in which costly lives were losted and over a hundred people sustained injuries. He said that the USA was aimed to create dispute among people of different sects but people demonstrated of their solidarity to make unsuccessful its conspiracy. He demanded the rulers to take practically measures for releasing Dr Aafia Siddique. Those also spoke Haji Noor Illahi Mughal.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Chairman council for all underprivileged segments empowerment Asghar Narejo advocate has expressed grave concern over the growing incidents of target killing of political activists in the city and demanded the rulers to take immediate notice and ensure arresting of the culprits involved in target killing. In a press statement issued here on Sunday, he deplored that administration is silent on target killing as it was failed to nab any accused of target killing of political activists. He said that Ali Akbar Panhwer and Naved Baloch were killed in target killing while in past senior journalist Zubair Ahmed Mujahid, Kaleem Kaim Khani, Shehzad Kalar, Dr Mannan Siddique, etc had been killed in target killing in the city but no involved accused was yet apprehended by police. He said that citizens feeling insecure themselves and urged the government to take strict measures against culprits for restoration of peace in the city.
 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Police have rounded up over 50 absconders in the crackdown in Mirpurkhas and Hussain Bux Mari taluka here on Sunday while they were wanted to police in different criminal cases. SPO city Mirpurkhas Mohammad Ayub Dars told the newsmen that police carried out raids at various places and apprehended over 50 absconders wanted to police in heinous crimes.
