MIRPURKHAS Feb 2. At least 13 villagers including women and children were fell unconscious after eating rice at village Khuda Bux Khatyan, taluka Mirpurkhas here on Tuesday early morning. Report said that 13 villagers including Rajo, Shereen, Hurji, Ponyo, Mst Anita etc were brought in unconscious condition in emergency of civil hospital where they were provided first aid and doctors save their lives by washing their stomachs. Doctors told that these had been affected owing to food poisonous. Affected people told the newsmen that they had eaten rice in the village on late night of Monday after which their condition was deteriorated.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 2. At least 21 bonded labours including women and children were produced by Naokot police in the court of additional sessions Judge Mirpurkhas 1, while court recorded their statements and ordered to set free them here on Tuesday. Report said that Channo Kolhi had submitted the application to the sessions court Mirpurkhas stating that his 21 relatives are living as peasants at the land of Landlord Mohammad Ashraf Memon near Naokot town where forced labour work was being taken with them even they were not allowed to go freely . He requested to order to SHO Naokot to release the bonded labours by conducting the raids and produced them in the court. On Monday, Naokot police carried out raid and released the 21 bonded labours including women and children from illegal detention. Released bonded labours including Bhaho Kolhi, Shremti Jogi and others told that they were working at the land of above landlords for last two years but they were not providing their share of crops even they were forced to work at the land without any compensation.
