MIRURKHAS Feb 14. Civil society and different social and political organizations have jointly taken out a protest rally here on Sunday from railway station chowk to protest against terrorism, religious extremism, target killing and lawlessness. Protesters led by Kanji Rano Bheel advocate and Asghar Narejo, carried banners and placards marched through main roads. Mostly participators wearing yellow colour dresses and Ajrak, Sindhi caps expressing sofiasam while singers also singing sofi classical songs with musical instruments including Yaktara, Chapri, Baja, Drum, Shehnai etc. Hundreds of citizens’ heared their sofi songs and welcomed to participators belong to different parts of the Sindh province. They reached at local press club in surrounding of heavy police contingents. One side of the road was blocked on this occasion. Speaking at the protesters leaders strongly condemned the terrism, target killing, religious extremism and lawlessness. They called upon the government to take drastic action to end the terrorism, target killing, lawlessness. They lamented that crime has been arose in the district as murder, kidnapping for ransom, robbery, theft, mobile snatching etc have become common in the district. They deplored that mostly target of snatching was being made to schedule caste, journalists, political activists and human right activists as result resentment and unrest had been prevailed among the affected people. They said that 5000 plants have been distributed for planting to express solidary with young lovers and given the message of peace and love. They said that today valentine day is being observed in the world and we wanted to spread atmosphere of love, peace and brotherhood in the district, country and world. They accused that due to negligence of DPO Mirpurkhas Muneer Ahmed Shaikh, crime had been increased as police had been completely failed to restore peace in the city as well as other parts of the district. They further alleged that police had failed to nab any involve culprit of murder cases. They demanded the government to replace the DPO Mirpurkhas without any delay and ensure arresting of the accused involved in target killing and other crimes without any discrimination. Those spoke the protesters including Kanji Rano Bheel advocate, Asghar Narejo, Hameed Channa, Sher Mohammad Solangi, Wajid Leghari, Zeeshan, Taj Baloch, Akbar Mari, Mir Safdar Talpure, Najaf Leghari etc. 

 MIRPURKHAS Feb 14. General Secretary Jamaat e Islami Mirpurkhas Abo Maaz has accused that government has made violation of constitution to cancel the summary of chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chohadhry for appointments of judges and termed this act as against the judicial decision. He was speaking at the protest demonstration of JI Mirpurkhas held here on Sunday outside Madina Masjid to protest against the government violations of the judicial decision. Haji Noor Illahi Mughal and Mohammad Rafique Chohan said that president has denied of recommendations of chief justice as result condition will be created in the country for which rulers would be responsible. They paid rich tribute to Justice Saqib Nisar for refusing the president order and said that he has been established an example of respect of judiciary and law . 
 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 14. CIA police Mirpurkhas have apprehended an absconder accused of the murder case near Lohi Mori at Tandoadam road here on Sunday. Police sources said that on a tip off CIA police  incharge Ghulam Mustufa Thebo along with contingents conducted raid and apprehended absconder accused Mitho Khaskheli son of Kandero Khaskhlei . Sources added that arrested accused was wanted to Khai police in murder case of Ghulam Mustufa, sub inspector of crime branch Hyderabad.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 14. Zaheeruddin Babar, coordinator of Chohadhry Shujaat Hussain of PML (Q) leader has said that PML (Q) is believed to services of poors without any discrimination and for achieving its  target leadership are working for providing facilities to the masses . He was speaking at a reception given in his honour by Abdul Ghaffar Rajput, district leader of PML (Q) Mirpurkhas here on Saturday night. He said that his leaders are talking for rights of workers and supporting those office bearers and workers who had been neglected in past. He claimed that PML (Q) is the big active political party in the country. He asked the workers and office bearers to be united for restoration of proper democracy in the country. Vice president PML(Q)Sindh Basheer Ahmed Johary said that his party will take massive part in the coming local body election and after success its representatives would services of the masses without any discrimination. He said that after coming in government we could end the price hike by adopting comprehensive policy. District leader Abdul Ghaffar Rajput has said that PML (Q) is being strengthened on union council level in the district Mirpurkhas as well as other districts of Sindh. Haji Mohammad Saleem and Mohammad Ameen Memon also spoke. Pir Syed Sajjad Hussain, Ch Shahnawaz of taluka Jhuddo and Sahab Khan Mari have announced to join the PML (Q).

MIRPURKHAS Feb 13. Concerned authorities have not yet begun the work to construct sports complex and installation of LPG air mixed plant at Kot Ghulam Mohammad town as result people are deprived of sports ground and LPG gas facility. Report said that federal minister for inter provincial relation Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani and MNA Mir Munawar Ali Talpure had been laid stone breaking of the above two projects in month oct, 2009 during the ceremonies held near office of taluka Nazim Kot Ghulam Mohammad and across Kot Ghulam Mohammad Mirpurkhas road . Report added that sports complex was to be constructed at 4 acres government land (irrigation department land) and LPG air mixed plant was to be installed at 4 acre land of Market committee and for this purpose sui southern gas company limited was approached for installation of this project as such kind of project had also been installed in Punjab province. MNA Mir Munawar Ali Talpure had taken special interest for installation of this project to fulfill his promise made with masses of taluka kot Ghulam Mohammad. Report said that the land matter to fix the price or value of the 4 acre land of market committee was handed over to district price committee comprising chairman EDO revenue , members D.O revenue, concerned DDO revenue, concerned Mukhtiarkar, representatives of real state and market committee. However no meeting of district price committee was yet convened despite passing three months. Anwer Kaim Khani, Farooque, Ghulam Mustafa , Shamshair Kaim Khani etc told the newsmen that various teams of Sui Southern gas company limited had visited the site here various times but no work was yet started. When contacted DDO revenue taluka Kot Ghulam Mohammad, Aamir Khattak told that the matter had been shifted to district price committee to fix the market value of 4 acres of Market committee land that was acquired for installation of LPG air Mixed plant. He deplored that building department has not yet been started the work on the sports complex scheme. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 13. Hundreds of abadgars of Girhor Shakh fed by Khipro canal have staged protest demonstrations at local press club and outside the office of director Nara canal to protest against not supply of irrigation water in their Girhor Shakh for last two months causing destroying of their cultivated crops. Protesters reached first of all outside the office of director Nara canal in mini trucks and Datsun pickups. They, led by Mohammad Khan Mari and Arbab Mari carried banners and placards demanding the authorities for early supply of irrigation water in their Shakh. Later, they arrived at local press club where they staged sit in. On this occasion talking to newsmen protesters Mohammad Khan Mari, Arbab Mari, Noor Mohammad Khaskheli and others deplored that despite passing two months no drop of irrigation water was supplied in their Shakh. They described that water supply was closed in their Shakh after closure of Nara canal for annual desilting and improvement but despite passing two months water was not supplied in their Shakh as result their cultivated wheat, sugar cane, sun flower and vegetables crops were devastating. They said that water supply had been resumed in Nara head while accusing that SDO Samaro was receiving allegedly illegal gratification from big landlords as result water is being provided to big landlords or those paying illegal gratification. They regretted that their area was deprived also of drinking water and people had been compelled to bring the drinking water from far flung areas. They demanded the Sindh chief minister, Governor Sindh, secretary irrigation and provincial minister for irrigation to immediately take notice ensure judiciously distribution of water and water availability till tail end abadgars of their Shakh. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 13. Local landlord Pir Iftikhar Jan Sarhandi has demanded the Sindh chief minister, Governor Sindh, provincial minister for irrigation and secretary irrigation to take immediately notice of acute shortage of water in tail of Lakhaki Shakh fed by Jamrao canal as result hundreds of abadgars and landlords were deprived of their share water and their cultivated wheat and other crops were adversely damaging. Talking to newsmen here on Saturday at local press club, he deplored that water is being supplied in Lakhki Shakh but influential landlords are involved in stealing of irrigation water by tempering their water courses as result water was not reaching in tail even Sindh horticulture research institute Mirpurkhas, Mirpurkhas Gymkhana club, Judges bunglows and other residences of government officers are also adversely affecting of acute shortage of water. They deplored that in the head of the Shakh henchmen of landlords are forcibly closed the water supply in tail as result maximum water quantity was going in the lands of influential landlords. He demanded the concerned authorities to ensure water supply till tail end abadgars in their Shakh. 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 12. Acute shortage of water has been prevailed from 8 districts to 18 districts of Sindh province causing devastation of wheat, sugar cane, sunflower, vegetables and other crops cultivated over a cror acre. This was stated by Javed Ahmed Junejo, chairman farmer organization council FOC Sindh, while talking to newsmen here on Friday at local press club. He said that after Nara canal, other canals of Sukkur barrage including Ghotki canal and left bank Badin canal are facing acute shortage of water while they and their distributaries and minors had already been handed over to farmer organizations. He said that 560 distributaries have been affected of acute shortage of water that are being run under Sindh irrigation and drainage authority SIDA. He said that Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Sanghar, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Tandoallahyar, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Badin, Tando Mohammad Khan and other districts are adversely affecting owing scarcity of water. He said that water shortage crisis has been deepened as result in future crisis of shortage of flour, vegetables etc might be occurred in Sindh . He accused that under a deep conspiracy agriculture of Sindh is being devastated to create anarchy and law and order problem. He said that there is required 45000 cusec water flow in Sukkur barrage but only 17000 cusec water is being supplied that is insufficient for drinking purpose also . He claimed that chairmen farmer organization councils of above three canals were paid RS 15 crors as Aabyana (water tax) and 75 crors as agriculture tax etc. He deplored that growers have been suffered big losses due to acute shortage of water and destroying of their standed crops. He said that all abadgars have decided not to pay water tax and agriculture tax to the government. He demanded the President Asif Ali Zardari, prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and other authorities to take immediately take notice , ensure supply of required quantity of water to save the crops of this region otherwise abadgars would suffered heavy losses. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 12. General Secretary of PPP district Mirpurkhas Tharo Khan Panhwer has been suspended by president PPP Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah following complaint of Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani , divisional president PPP Mirpurkhas and federal minister for inter provincial relations against him . PPP sources informed to this correspondent that federal minister Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani had been complained to Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Sindh chief minister and president PPP Sindh that Tharo Khan Panhwer, general secretary of PPP district Mirpurkhas had been misbehaved with him after which action was taken in this regard. This matter was occurred after the murder of Ali Akbar Panhwer, senior worker of PPP Mirpurkhas very close to federal minister and divisional president Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani. It may be recalled that a week back in night, unknown armed assailants had opened indiscriminate firing in target killing incident at Gulshan Haider as result Ali Akbar Panhwer was died of serious bullet wounds at the spot while Aijaz Soomro, district president PPP cultural wing was seriously injured. When they were being shifted to emergency of civil hospital Mirpurkhas, a message was sent to notables, PPP party office bearers and district officers from the mobile of injured Aijaz Soomro as both had suffered bullet injuries and two persons of PPP district level were involved in murderous attack. Injured Aijaz Soomro was referred to LMUH Hyderabad where he was operated by surgeons and was still admitted in the hospital at Hyderabad. Murder case of this incident was lodged with town police station on the complaint of Asghar Panhwer, little brother of deceased Ali Akbar Panhwer after three days against two unknown armed assailants following discussion in party leaders on provincial level. It may be recalled that about a year back, on the complaint and being proved regarding getting over a dozen government job to family of deceased Ali Akbar Panhwer and selling of provided jobs by Haji Noor Hassan Chandio, ex district president PPP Mirpurkhas, Sindh chief minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah had been suspended and replaced the district president Haji Noor Hassan Chandio and deceased Ali Akbar panhwer from office of divisional Rabita secretary , while divisional president PPP youths wing Mirpurkhas Tharo Khan Panhwer was replaced and appointed as general secretary of PPP district Mirpurkhas . While MNA Mir Munawar Ali Talpure was appointed as district president PPP Mirpurkhas. These changes of office bearers in the PPP district Mirpurkhas created two factions in the party as secretly a faction was being run by divisional president PPP Mirpurkhas Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani and another faction was being run  by MNA Mir Munawar Ali Talpure. Sources said that workers and office bearers on union council levels had welcomed the replacing of ex district president Haji Noor Hassan Chandio and divisional Rabita secretary deceased Ali Akbar Panhwer and had expressed their happiness over the appointment of Tharo Khan Panhwer as general secretary district Mirpurkhas as he belong to lower class and worker class and had been emerged on district level following his great services and sacrifices for party. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 12. Compliancing the orders of Inspector explosives of ministry of industries and production, department of explosives, circle office Karachi , deputy district officer DDO revenue Mirpurkhas taluka Ammara Aamir Khatak has visited the 6 filling stations along with police and suspended their services including storage and sale of petroleum products here on Friday, while she has been sought the owners or representatives of the above 6 filling stations in his office tomorrow on Saturday along with relevant records . Report said that Mian Rauf Ali , inspector explosives of ministry of industries and production, department of explosives , circle office Karachi had been cancelled the licenses of petrol storage of 6 filling stations of the Mirpurkhas taluka . Official sources said that above inspector had directed in a letter to DCO Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Memon to ensure sealing of the premises of 6 filling stations, stoppage of supply , storage and sale of petroleum products and intimate also last meter reading of DP and HSD dispensing units. He further said that if those filling stations were desired restoration of their licenses should adopt the proper procedure as laid down in the policy/regulation and petroleum rules 1937. Those filling stations whose licenses have been cancelled are M/s Madina filling station situated at Mirwah Digri road, M/s Raja filling station situated at railway station Mirpurkhas , M/s Mirwah filling station near chowk Amsabad, Deh Mirwah , taluka Mirpurkhas, M/s Yamin filling station situated at Bhansinghabad , Iqbal road Mirpurkhas, 3 mile filling station situated at Mirpurkhas Mirwah road, taluka Mirpurkhas and M/s Shaikh Mohammad Usman filling station situated at Jameel Shaheed road Mirpurkhas .When contacted DDO revenue Mirpurkhas taluka Ammara Aamir Khatak told that representative of Shell company have talked with her on telephone and assured that licenses of their Shell company’s filling stations have been restored and sending relevant records in her office. She said that if their documents would be correct and restoration of licenses she will allow them to resume their services.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 11. Notices under section 133 CrPc have been issued to over a dozen illegal encroachers by DDO revenue taluka Mirpurkhas here on Thursday against their illegal encroachements and directed them to remove their illegal encroachments within seven days after which authorities will remove them without any discrimination. Report said that DDO revenue Mirpurkhas taluka Ammara Aamir Khattak along with town officer regulation of TMA Mirpurkhas has visited the M.A.Jinnah road and Sir Syed road and issued over a dozen seven days notices under section 133 CrPc. While on the spot town police have served those notices to illegal encroachers including sweets shops, wood shops, furniture shops etc. It may be recalled that this action was taken after growing the illegal encroachers at main roads of the city sothat traffic flow might be easy without any obstacle. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 11. Inspector explosives of ministry of industries and production, department of explosives, circle office Karachi Mian Rauf Ali has been cancelled the licenses of petrol storage of 6 petrol pumps and CNG filling stations of the district Mirpurkhas. Official sources said that above inspector had asked in a letter to DCO Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Memon to ensure sealing of the premises of those petrol pumps and CNG filling stations, stoppage of supply , storage and sale of petroleum products and intimate also last meter reading of DP and HSD dispensing units. He further said that if those petrol pumps and CNG filling stations were desired restoration of their licenses should adopt the proper procedure as laid down in the policy/regulation and petroleum rules 1937. MIRPURKHAS Feb 10.People are facing hardships in getting the Autara of field book of their lands from survey superintendent department Mirpurkhas. Vice president Sindh Abadgar board SAB Mirpurkhas chapter Haji Abdul Ghafoor Maher complained that survey superintendent department Mirpurkhas is not providing or issuing the Autara of field book of the agriculture lands despite approaching to concerned department . Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, he said that on Mirpurkhas divisional level, Sindh government had been opened its office of Survey superintendent department at Mirpurkhas for providing facilities of demarcation of the lands and issuance of Autara of field book of the lands but only land demarcation work was made while Autara of field book of the land was not being provided here due to non availability of record of the lands of defunct Mirpurkhas division. He lamented that people are facing hardships as traveled to Hyderabad for acquiring Autara of field book of their land. When contacted Zameer Hussain Leghari, incharge of survey superintendent department Mirpurkhas told that about a year back this office was opened but no budget , record and required staff were provided here despite repeated complaints to concerned higher authorities. He said that no building of his office was available here but he was provided two rooms in the building of civil defence office Mirpurkhas. He said that without proper staff and land records he is not able to issue Autara of field book of the lands, however demarcation of the lands was being made by his staff. He appealed the higher authorities to provide him budget and staff for properly running this office here. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 10. Wheat and other cultivated crops are devastating particularly in tail end districts Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Tharparkar situated in lower Sindh owing to acute shortage of irrigation water in Nara canal. Talking to newsmen at local press club here on Wednesday, Javed Ahmed Junejo , chairman Farmer organization council FOC Sindh deplored that recently 25000 cusec water was increased in Sindh river following rainfall in Punjab and other provinces but unfortunately irrigation authorities of Punjab has diverted the water flow towards Taunsa Bairaj to store the water as result in Sukkur barrage water level has been decreased as from 18000 cusec to 15000 cusecs automatically irrigation authorities supplying the water discharge only 6000 cusec in Nara canal head against its requirements of 18000 cusec water discharge. He lamented that drought like situation has been created in the above tail end districts of Nara canal as due to stealing of water from Nara canal through illegal 400 lift machines and tempered modules of canals and distributaries only water for drinking purpose is being supplied in minors, distributaries etc. He urged the federal government to ensue releasing of more than water in Sindh River instead to store the water in Taunsa barrage to save the wheat and other crops of Sindh province. He said that landlords and abadgars were suffering big losses as their investments in agriculture sector has become on risk and depending now only on irrigation water that is not available in the canals here . He said that 6000 cusec water discharge is only for drinking purpose and at this time there is acute need of water for wheat and other crops in this region and added that wheat and other crops were already deprived of irrigation for last 50 days as the Nara canal was closed for annual desilting and repair purpose. He demanded the president Asif Ali Zardari and prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take immediately notice of acute shortage of water particularly in lower Sindh and ensure proper supply of water in River Indus and in Nara canal to save the cultivated wheat and other crops otherwise all the abadgars and Zamindars under the banner of FOC Sindh would held protest demonstration and sit in at Sukkur barrage on Feb 11th 2010.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 9. Chairman Pakistan Wapda Hydro electric central labour union Abdul Lateef Nizamani has said that electricity tariff will be increased after functioning the rental power project as result resentment and unrest will be prevailed in the country and added that these power projects have completed their life. He was talking with local journalists after attending the meeting of Hydro union workers here on Tuesday in the Hesco Mirpurkhas division office. He said that those came into government on the name of democracy did nothing for masses and advised the government to upgrade the present power plants in the country for providing electricity on cheap or less rate. He further said that electricity generated from rental power projects would be costly as result problems of the consumers would also be enhanced and electricity theft and its arrears would also be increased. He said that government should change its attitude sothat labours could pay their role for progress and prosperity of the country. He urged the government to increased RS 2000 in salary on adhoc basis to face the price hike because government had been failed to controle the price hike in the country. He expressed that grievances of the labours are increasing day by day and there is need to bring such revolution under which labours could pass their life easily without any trouble. General secretary Iqbal Kaim Khani said that masses and labours are badly affecting owing to growing unemployment and dangerous price hike and announced that labours would launch their struggle throughout country from Feb 20th, 2010. He said that about 10000 factories had been closed in the country as capital is not coming in the country and we are facing the terrorism. He said that there is need of vital role of labours for solutions of these problems. Divisional chairman Mirpurkhas Akbar Leghari said that Pakistan Wapda Hydro central electric labour union is the unpolitical organization of labours which is struggling for solutions of masses and to acquire the respect for labours of Wapda. He said that Hydro Union is the spokesman of labours of Wapda and it had won 4 referendums in the country. He said that labours of Sindh are united in the leadership of Abdul Lateef Nizamani. Those also spoke Dr Sohail Nizamani, Malik Abdul Kareem, Yousuf Soomro, Agha Abdul Waheed Pathan, Malik Sultan, Sher Mohammad Nizamani etc. 


MIRPURKHAS Feb 8. Light rainfall hit the city and its outskirts areas as result cold wave intensified here on Monday. Report said that light intermittent rainfall occurred caused slippery roads and cold wave intensified in the region. Various motor cyclists were reportedly slipped and they get first aid from emergency of civil hospital.
 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 8. Murder case of local PPP leader Ali Akbar Panhwer was lodged with town police station here on Monday. Report said that Asghar Ali Panhwer, little brother of deceased had lodged the murder case accusing that two unknown armed persons had killed his brother Ali Akbar panhwer in Gulshan e Haider while district president PPP cultural wing Mirpurkhas Aijaz Soomro was seriously injured. Report added that injured Aijaz Soomro was operated in LMUH Hyderabad and still he is admitted in Hyderabad.Besides, a meeting of different unions of education department including primary teachers association, Masjid school teacher association, Jamiatul Madarseen and Government secondary teachers association was held at Adil primary school in the protest of murder of Ali Akbar Panhwer , also leader of primary teacher association , presided by president Hussain Bux khamesani. Speaking at the meeting, Mehmood Leghari, Javed ul Islam, Aslam chohan, Nazeer Memon and Khameso Khan Sammon have demanded the government to arrest the culprits involved in his murder. They said that unrest and resentment had been prevailed among the teachers community. They warned that if the killers of Ali Akbar Panhwer were not arrested within a week then protest campaign will be launched throughout province. They said that black banners and flags were hoisted at the buildings of all schools, offices and institutions in protest on Monday while teachers wore also black armed banned.
 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 8. Fire broke out in the house of Allama Aijaz Ali Sanjrani, divisional president Jaffria alliance Mirpurkhas on Sunday late night in Mehmood town here as result house articles and other goods were burnt to ashes. Talking to newsmen on Sunday, Allama Aijaz Ali Sanjrani told that his house was set on fire by unknown persons while he was receiving threats for last some days. He added that at the time of fire his family was not present in the house. Meanwhile, local leaders of Jaffria alliance Mirpurkhas Sajjad Rind, Farhat Hussain Abidi and Sagheer Naqvi have strongly condemned of this incident. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 8. Assistant inspector recovery of Muslim commercial bank limited Raja Hidayat Khan has warned the defaulters of MCB belong to Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Sanghar to deposite their arrears till Feb 15, 2010 otherwise their cases would be filed in the banking court for legal proceedings. According to a press release issued here on Monday, following are the defaulters as Haji Dhani Parto of Hingorno arrears RS 250000, Zaheer Imran of Mirpurkhas arrears RS 3 lakhs, Liaqat Arain of Sanghar arrears RS 3 lakhs, Soomar son of Long Dilber Maher arrears RS 2 Lakhs, Jahangeer Baloch, general secretary PPP Shadi Palli dues RS 9 lakhs , Ghulam Sarwar Bhurgari of Mirpurkhas dues RS 3 lakhs, Safar Khan son of Punno Khan of Kandyari arrears RS 15 lakhs, Ramesh Kumar son of Pehlaj Mal of Sanghar arrears RS 13 lakhs, Sajid Ali Liskani son of Pir Bux Liskani of Naoabad arrears RS 5 lakhs and Imtiaz Khamesa of Bodal Farm dues RS 680000. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb8. Scores of people of Banglani community have held protest demonstration on Monday in front of Kot Ghulam Mohammad press club in KGM town to protest against the kidnapping of Shaheen Banglani, 22, and injuring of Mohammad Hashim Banglani and Wahid Bux Banglani in the armed attack by taluka nazim Kunri Jam Memon and his henchmen. Protesters led by Razique Dino Banglani and Mohammad Qasim Banglani, carried banners and placards raised slogans against the taluka nazim Kunri. Speaking at the protesters leaders said that there were 175 acres of agriculture land of Banglani community in taluka Samaro but taluka nazim Kunri Jam Memon and his henchmen had tried to occupy their lands during this nazim and his henchmen resorted strait firing in which Wahid Bux and Mohammad Hashim Banglani were seriously injured while they kidnapped young Shaheen Banglani. They demanded the authorities to arrest Sattar Chandio and Abdul Haq Memon, close persons of taluka nazim Kunri and recover Shaheen Banglani from their illegal confinement otherwise Banglani community will be compelled to launch protest campaign throughout province.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. An infant was burnt to death and four laborers sustained burn injuries when fire broke out in a hut in Deh 140, village Ghulam Ali Talpure, near Mirwah Gorchani town on Saturday night. Report received that fire broke out in a hut during preparation of tea which engulfed the other huts as result sugarcane laborers residing in those huts tried to save their lives but a one and half years old child was burnt to death and four laborers sustained burn injuries rushed to rural health center Mirwah Gorchani for medical treatment. Their names could not be ascertained. Total about 50 huts were burnt to ashes. Laborers and villagers extinguished the fire on self help basis while fire brigade vehicle was reached very late on the spot. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Vice president of Sindh abadgar board SAB Mirpurkhas chapter Haji Abdul Ghafoor Maher advocate has strongly condemned the irrigation authorities for releasing the water only for drinking purpose in Mithrao canal as result wheat and other cros on lakhs of acres would be destroyed. In a press statement issued here on Sunday. He said that there was acute need of irrigation water for wheat and other crops at this time as they were already deprived of water for last one and half month because of Nara canal was closed for annual desiltng and repair purpose. He accused that director Nara canal and other officers were supplying the very less quantity of water in the head of Mithrao canal cuasing devastating the crops while human being and animals were avoiding to drink that dirty and bad smell water. He said that injustice was always made with Mithrao canal in supplying the water as due to mismanagement of irrigation department’s officers in distribution of water rotation programme was continued for last a year in Mithrao division as result over a lakhs of fertile land had been changed barren land. He demanded the government to ensure more than supply of irrigation water in Nara canal head and end the injustice with Mithrao canal in distribution of water and ensure proper supply of irrigation water till tail end abadgar and end also the rotation programme. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Ameer Jamaat e Islami Mirpurkhas Lala Noor Mohammad has accused that dangerous face of USA has been uncovered following the decision of USA court against Dr Aafia Siddique despite proving false witnesses presented in the court against her. He was speaking at the protest demonstration held here on Sunday outside the Madina Masjid to protest against the USA decision against Dr Aafia Siddique. He said that for replacing the attention of Pakistani people from Dr Aafia Siddique verdict, after two days, USA had made arrangements as bomb blasted in Karachi in which costly lives were losted and over a hundred people sustained injuries. He said that the USA was aimed to create dispute among people of different sects but people demonstrated of their solidarity to make unsuccessful its conspiracy. He demanded the rulers to take practically measures for releasing Dr Aafia Siddique. Those also spoke Haji Noor Illahi Mughal.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Chairman council for all underprivileged segments empowerment Asghar Narejo advocate has expressed grave concern over the growing incidents of target killing of political activists in the city and demanded the rulers to take immediate notice and ensure arresting of the culprits involved in target killing. In a press statement issued here on Sunday, he deplored that administration is silent on target killing as it was failed to nab any accused of target killing of political activists. He said that Ali Akbar Panhwer and Naved Baloch were killed in target killing while in past senior journalist Zubair Ahmed Mujahid, Kaleem Kaim Khani, Shehzad Kalar, Dr Mannan Siddique, etc had been killed in target killing in the city but no involved accused was yet apprehended by police. He said that citizens feeling insecure themselves and urged the government to take strict measures against culprits for restoration of peace in the city.
 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 7. Police have rounded up over 50 absconders in the crackdown in Mirpurkhas and Hussain Bux Mari taluka here on Sunday while they were wanted to police in different criminal cases. SPO city Mirpurkhas Mohammad Ayub Dars told the newsmen that police carried out raids at various places and apprehended over 50 absconders wanted to police in heinous crimes.
