MIRPURKHAS Oct 12. DPO Mirpurkhas Zulfikar Maher has claimed that police have arrested 12 members of 5 criminal gangs involved in street crime and other heinous crimes and recovered stolen goods and illegal arms from their possession while raids are continued to arrest the other members of  those gangs. Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday in his office, giving the detail, he said that anti street crime cell led by SPO city Pir Allah Rakhio Qureshi have nabbed the 5 accused of a gang including Nasir, Ghulam Sarwar, Sulaiman, Sultan and Nadeem in raid conducted near New Sabzi Mandi and recovered a stolen bike, a unlicensed pistol and various bullets from their possession while he added that town police have apprehended the accused Muhammad Ali and Dilip Kumar Malhi of another gang from Jamnadas colony while they were snatching the mobile cell phones and confiscated a unlicensed Pistol and some bullets from their possession. He further told that Old Mirpur police held the motor cycle robbers accused Ahmed Khaskheli and Waris Kori and recovered from their possession stolen cash RS 3500, an unlicensed pistol and some bullets from them. He further said that accused Waris Kori was wanted to different police stations of the district Mirpurkhas in 6 heinous cases. He told that accused Lalchand Malhi was arrested by taluka police along with cash stolen money that was roobed near from 78 Mori while his accomplices were still absconders and efforts are continued to nab them. He said that Satellite town police have picked up the accused truck driver and cleaner Nazim and Kewal Kolhi who were involved in theft of a truck loaded with 184 maunds cotton crop while police have recovered the looted truck. He said that cases against the above arrested accused have been lodged with the concerned police stations and hoped that very soon escaped involved criminals would be nabbed.

MIRPURKHAS Oct 12. Three cattle traders were looted by 4 armed unknown car occupants near Sindhri at Mirpurkhas Sindhro road on Tuesday. Report received that cattle traders Rajo, Rashid and Asghar were on their way to Mirpurkhas from Sindhri in a car that another speedy car crossed their car and stopped them on gun point and 4 unknown armed car occupants looted allegedly cash RS 10 lakhs from them and drove away their car from the spot. However no case of this incident was lodged with concerned police station till filing of the news.
