MIRPURKHAS Aug 3. Additional general secretary Jaffria alliance Pakistan Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi , provincial leader of Jamiat ulma e Islam Mufti Shareef Saeedi, chairman railway workers union Manzoor Razi and Shakoor Shaikh of Mehran welfare association have strongly condemned the registration of false cases against the Afaq Ahmed Khan , president Mirpurkhas union of Journalist and senior journalist Syed Zahir Shah . In their separate statements, they deplored that Mirpurkhas police were lodging the cases against the senior journalists without any inquiry and they condemned the state terrorism against the fourth pillar of the country.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 3. District and sessions Judge Mirpurkhas Rasheed Ahmed Soomro has awarded sentence of five years imprisonment and fine RS 10000 to accused Zulfikar Bhutto in charges of having 6 kilogramme charas here on Monday. If the accused failed to pay fine he will have undergo additional three months imprisonment. Narcotic case against the accused was lodged by Kot Ghulam Mohammad police.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 3. Provincial minister for information technology Raza Haroon has termed the local government system a successful municipal system under which infact power was transferred till grass root level however he added that there was possibility to amend it instead of its abolishment or removing. Speaking at a press conference here on Monday at office of taluka nazim Mirpurkhas. On this occasion, taluka nazim Mirpurkhas Ghulam Dastageer Kamali, MPA Fahim Ahmed Altafi, Zila Naib Nazim Dr Zafar Ahmed Kamali and zonal incharge Muttehda Quami Movement MQM Mirpurkhas Azeem Danish were also present. He said that we are challenged those saying that local government system given nothing, because of facilities have been delivered to the masses under this system which proves with the development of Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Nawabshah and other areas where Haq parast elected representatives working without any discrimination. He said that Haq parastleadership under local government system had made record development works in the last four years and congratulated to those and paid tribute them for their services for the poor masses. In reply a question, he said that there is remained requirement of reforms in any kind of system, while said that personality was made corruption instead of system. He said that it was already directives of Quaid e Tehreek Altaf Hussain to work hard for services of downtrodden people without any discrimination. In reply of questions, he said that if law and order situation is not better in other provinces but in Sindh province situation is better for local body election and added that we wanted to be held election soon in the province sothat facilities delivery system remained continue for progress of the Sindh province. He said that in 2005, Haq Parast leadership in local government found a lot of problems because of in previous regime lazy leadership were working asresult development was not made properly according to requirement of the masses. Regarding the progress of information technology ministry, he said that E government project is being installed in the province and first of all it has been installed in five departments including health, education, finance and planning and development. He said that E government system had been imposed throughout world under this project transparency was remained in the record and all the people could read the efficiency of the departments. He said that for making better police system, E police project is working at Karachi as all the police stations would be connected with each other. He expressed that under Shaheed Benazeer Bhutto information technology programme; about 7000 unemployed youths were given training in the province while they were also given stipend. He said that a soft wear has been installed in E government Sukkur after fruitfull result, that soft wear willbe installed in all the districts of the province. He said that under this soft wear, all DCOs could participate in the meetings with higher officers through video conference without going to Karachi. Earlier, taluka nazim Mirpurkhas Ghulam Dastageer Kamali has briefed about the developments works and schemes ongoing and added that without any discrimination work was made as more than development work was also made in Mirwah Gorchani town. Earlier, he visited the different ongoing development schemes of taluka municipal administration Mirpurkhas.
