MIRPURKHAS Aug 21. Scores of office bearers and workers of Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaz JSQM district Mirpurkhas took out protest procession here on Friday from railway station chowk to local press club to protest against the police failure to arrest the culprits involved in murderous attack on Basheer Khan Qureshi, chairman JSQM. Led by cultural secretary Najaf Leghari, they marched through main roads and raised slogans against the police and government and demanding the immediate arrest of killers of Mushtaque Khaskheli. They , carried banners and placards, reached at local press club where speaking at the protesters Najaf Leghari, Manzoor Memon, Arjan Kumar and Asghar Narejo said that Basheer Khan Qureshi was struggling for the prosperity of Sindh land and Sindhi nation and carrying the programme of Sain G.M.Syed, while the socalled state is against him and his colleagues and get murderous attacked upon him to press the real voice of Sindh. They said thatin the murderous attack, one attacker was killed and another attacker was injured, however, they accused that due to unrespectable attitude of government the real attackers were not yet unmasked. They demanded the government to immediately clarify the real culprits involved in murderous attack upon Basheer Khan Qureshi and punish them exemplary. Those also spoke Abbas Leghari, Ameer Ali Mari, Ameer Haider Shar and Ali Gohar Leghari.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 21. DCO Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Memon has said that four stalls would be setup in each taluka of the district for sale of flour at subsidize rate RS 10 per kilogramme for the masses and they would be establish at safe places sothat people could buy the flour easily . This said, while presiding over the meeting of food committee held here on Friday. He asked the concerned department to provide flour according to the quota of the district. He gave suggestion to set up stalls at Mukhtiarkar office, police station and high schools. DCO was told on this occasion that 1600 flour bags would be provided to each stall daily and a representative of magistrate will be present at each stall who will submit daily report to DCO office Mirpurkhas. DDOs revenue and office bearers of food committee participated. Besides, presiding another meeting of peace committee, DCO said that security arrangements would be make more strict and effective during Ramzan month sothat no any untoward inident might be occurred. Ulmae Karam of the district including Mufti Shareef Saeedi, Moulana Sadique Saeedi, Mushtaque Naqshbandi, Ziaul Hassan Naqvi, Moulana Abdul Hafeez Faiz and other Ulmas participated in the meeting. He further said that screen cameras would be installed at mosques, Imam Bargahs and other religious places during Ramzan month. He said that prices of daily essential commodities have been fixed and shopkeepers are being bound to sale commodities at their fixed prices and price list will be display at the shops otherwise legal action will be taken against them. In this connection, two complaint cell of Magistrate has been setup in the city, he added. He further said that government had fixed the sugar price RS 50 per kilogramme but we have decided to sale the sugar with cooperation of shopkeepers at RS 49 per kilogramme and added that illegal parking will be removed in the city. He directed the hesco officers to reduce the power load shedding time during Ramzan month. Ulmas have apprised the meeting about the problems of shortage of water supply, prices of daily essential commodities, parking, health and cleanliness.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 21. A family planning camp was setup at village Jodewal deh 301, taluka Kot Ghulam Mohammad by district population office Mirpurkhas with the cooperation of green star social marketing in which 51 operations were made while three injections were administered. According to a handout issued here on Friday, DR Samreen Mushtaque and Dr Robina Bhutto of Green star and Allah Bachao Rani of population welfare department have treated the women and provide them medicines free of cost. District officer population welfare department Mirpurkhas Mir Farman Ali Talpure briefed in detail regarding the procedure of family planning and facilities were being given on behalf of the department and directed the staff to go village to village to make common the family planning programme.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 21. Provincial minister for sports Surgeon Dr Mohammad Ali Shah has said that real democracy is in the local government system as councilors are elected the nazim and they are known the residents of their areas and aware of the problems of their areas as result they could work on grassroots level which main example of Karachi and Hyderabad as their condition have now been changed following completion of more than development schemes. He was talking to newsmen here on Friday night after ending of the conclusion ceremony of cricket training camp of A.O. cricket club at PCB sports ground Mirpurkhas. He said that Local government system has given more than development to the country and it should be impose in the country as well as other countries of the world as it is the successful municipal system to give representation to the people of grassroots level. In reply few questions, he said that government wanted to appoint administrators but weare demanding the government to appoint administrators for time limit and after completion of their time local body election be held sothat the progress system in the country might be run without any hasitation. He said that Quaid e Tehreek Altaf Hussain had also been demanded the government not to abolish this system and appoint the administrators for time limit and then hold the election of Local body department. He said that various people are supporting this system and also in Punjab province. He announced that any cricket player is selected for test match from interior Sindh will get RS 5 lakhs as reward. He said that we are making efforts to bring more than players to strengthen the Pakistan cricket team. He said that cricket players had yet been elected from Sindh for test matches belong to big cities instead of interior Sindh and we wanted to bring the talented cricket players from interior Sindh as there was more than talent among the youth.
