MIRPURKHAS July 19. Meeting of taluka Municipal administration Mirpurkhas was held here on Saturday in convener ship of Naib taluka nazim Shafique Ahmed in which meeting approved the matters of disputed plots of Kachchiabadi of Bhansinghabad and asked the incharge regulation branch to complete the legal requirements of the disputed matter of the plots sothat hindrance for their proper registration might be ended. Meeting discussed the matter of Gulshan Mustafa housing scheme. Farooque Ahmed belong to Muttehda Quami Movement and Noman Halepota of Awam Dost Panel have opposed the approval of a part of this scheme comprising 28 acres and 17 Ghuntas land in which 400 plots are of D grade. They said that regulation branch has not yet been briefed thoroughly to the members of the council while TMA should approve the whole housing scheme comprising over 90 acres at a time instead to approve it in parts. They said that plot holders of other parts would bedeprived of their rights if the council approved it’s a part for issuing allotments and NOC for registration of the plots. They said that without briefing to thecouncil this matter should not be approved. They further said that Incharge regulation branch Abdul Rehman told the meetings that this residential scheme comprised total 1170 plots and all the plots had been given to the people under process in past but plot holders are deprived of allotments orders and registry of their plots. Convenor Shafique Ahmed said that legal formality had been completed of phase 1 of this scheme, while 400 plot holders are deprived of allotment orders and registration of their plots due to non completion of the legal formality. He said that in past council had discussed this residential scheme for giving the allotment orders and issuance of NOC and imposing fee of RS 10000 per plot for issuance of allotment orders and NOC that would be expended on the development works of this residential scheme. Members Farooque Ahmed of Haq Parast panel, Noman Halepota and two other members of Awam Dost Panel have boycotted the meeting. Whilemeeting approved to issue the allotment orders and NOC for plots of Phase 1 of this scheme with majority of the votes. Later, meeting was postponed.


MIRPURKHAS July 19. An aged woman who had been seriously injured and died after falling from first floor of the private Saint Treasa hospital (American hospital) Mirpurkhas was laid to rest in ancestral graveyard Chatori, near Sindhri on Saturday night. The deceased Mrs Sain , 65, wife of Haji Ali Dino Shar, resident of Haji Bhagyo Khan Shar was the mother of Wazeer Shar, SHO taluka Mirpurkhas , while she went to meet with a patient in the above hospital at first floor in general ward where on Friday night she opened a door for entering into the bathroom that suddenly she fell down from first floor as there was not floor or bath room on the other side of that door, she sustained serious injuries, after which she was died of serious wounds in the way to Hyderabad. The incident took place allegedly due to serious negligence of hospital administration , lower staff of the hospital told that this door was remained close but due to unknown causes its lock was missing and deceased woman opened this door to enter into the bath room that she fell down from first floor as there was no bath room even floor . When tried to get comments of the administrative lady officer who was not available here for last two days. Lower staff told that for this incident administrative lady officer could give comments or brief while she lived at Sanghar town and come here daily from Sanghar.

MIRPURKHAS July 19. People have faced great hardships due to suspension of power supply to large area of lower Sindh for eight hours on Saturday night. Report said that power supply was suspended from Hyderabad for Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Tharparkar and other areas of the lower Sindh on Saturday night at 10.30 PM that was restored on Sunday morning at 6 AM. Whole night mostly people including women and children remained sleepless. While Water supply was disrupted to the towns, cities and villages from water supply schemes due to power failure as result people faced hardships to acquire the required water. Indoor patients in civil hospitals, taluka hospitals and rural health centers have suffered with power off.Hesco officials told that power supply was suspended from Hyderabad.
