MIRPURKHAS July 17. A protest rally was taken out by Farmers organization council FOC Sindh here on Friday from railway station chowk to protest against the so-called activists of human rights organizations damaging the agriculture sector of this region on the pretext of so-called fake jail issue of peasants. Protesters led by chairman FOC Javed Ahmed Junejo, carried banners and placards marched through main roads. Hundreds of farmers and landlords participated in the protest rally. They also raised slogans against the so-called human rights activists and reached at local press club where speaking at the protesters Javed Junejo, Mohammad Ali Baloch, Afzal Maher and others accused that so-called comrade and activists of Human rights organizations are destroying the agriculture of this region of lower Sindh including Mirpurkhas, Umerkot , Badin and Sanghar districts except other districts of Sindh . They claimed that there was no private jail in thisregion but unfortunately under a deep conspiracy, issue of private jail is being raised through human rights activists to damage the agriculture of this region while there was already persisting acute shortage of water and crisis of power as result landlords and growers are facing hardships to cultivate crops at their lands. They expressed that peasants are taken advance money from landlord and instead to reduce their debt of landlord by hardworking, they are making the fake issue of private jail as they were being misused by so-called human rights activists. They said that peasants are taken lakhs of rupees as advance then they went to court for getting rid from dept of landlord after being convinced by activists of human rights . They demanded the government to take immediate notice into this matter, take action against such so-called human rights activists and save the agriculture of this region by affective measures to clear the issue of fakeprivate jail in this region.

MIRPURKHAS July 17. Additional sessions Judge Mirpurkhas ii, has been ordered to free the 22 recovered peasants including women and children and also allowed them to go anywhere with their wishes, after recording their statements here on Friday. Report said that few days ago after receiving the application regarding the detention of the 22 peasants in the illegal confinement of landlord Haji Maqbool Jatt, in deh 302, taluka Kot Ghulam Mohammad, court ordered the SHO Kot Ghulam Mohammad to carry out raid and recover the detained peasants. SHO KGM conducted raid at the spot and confiscated the 22 peasants including women and children and produced them before the sessions Judge.
