MIRPURKHAS Feb 17. At least 58 suspected arms licenses were issued on the base of fake verification report of police, special branch and licence branch in the district while documents of verification of 2 licenses were found fake. On the complaint of joint inquiry report fraud case has been lodged with Town police station on behalf of state against the Ibrahim Khoso, junior clerk of licence branch of DCO office Mirpurkhas and Mohammad Haneef, constable of police line Mirpurkhas while town police have rounded up them in raids, here on Wednesday. Speaking at the hurriedly called joint press conference at DCO office , DCO Ghulam Hussain Memon and DPO Mirpurkhas Muneer Ahmed Shaikh told that they had received the report regarding suspected verification documents of special branch , police and DCO office regarding Najaf Ali Leghari, who had criminal record after which immediately a joint inquiry committee was constituted comprising DDO coordination Abdul Hafeez Leghari, DSP headquarter Mehboob Baloch and group officer special branch Mirpurkhas that initiated inquiry into this matter and found suspected documents of verification of 58 licenses while the team confirmed the issuance of 2 licenses on the base of fake verification documents of letters of DCO office, DPO office and special branch. They said that inquiry was continued and said that a private contractor Shahji was fixed the fake stamps and stamps papers of the verification documents. They claimed that a gang is involved in this matter and now during police interrogation, other involved persons would be arrested on the base of statements of nabbed two accused. They said that this gang has been making this offence or forgery since 6 months. They further said that gangsters were received RS 3000 to 5000 per licence for early verification process of the arms licenses.
 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 17. DDO revenue taluka Mirpurkhas has paid surprise visit at Utility store situated at Hirabad here on Wednesday and found that store incharge was selling the sugar at the price of RS 100 per 2 kilogrammes while the official amount is RS 94 per 2 kilogrammes. She also took comments of the gathered buyers and store incharge. When contacted DDO revenue taluka Mirpurkhas Ammara Aamir Khatak told that above store incharge of Utility store Hirabad was selling sugar at the high rate on which she has fined RS 5000 on the store incharge while she has been issued also warning to incharge of regional Utility office Mirpurkhas. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 17. At least 9 persons were injured when a speedy Shehzoor pickup turned turtle at Sindhri road near Mirpurkhas here on Wednesday. Report said that a Shehzoor pickup was going in speedy that suddenly its driver lost the control as result it was turned turtle leaving 9 persons injured identified as Nawaz, Hazoor Bux, Rustam Mohammad Safeer, Mohammad Aachar, Khair Mohammad, Mohammad Talib, Waheed Ali, Bux Ali and driver Shakeel. 
   
MIRPURKHAS Feb 17. Dozens of office bearers and workers of Muslim students’ federation and Muslim league functional labour wing  have held protest demonstration here on Wednesday outside the local press club to protest against the insulting of Photos of Pir Sadruddin Shah Rashdi, president PML(functional) Sindh and removing of party flags at Tando Ghulam Ali town . Carrying banners and placards they demanded the government to take strict notice and punish exemplary to those involved in this affair. Speaking at the protesters Abid Rajput, Ghulam Nabi Mangrio, Mir Nawaz Baloch and Ghulam Rasool Halepota accused that those were involved in insulting of the photos of above leaders are enemy of Sindh province. They said that conspiracies are being hatched to damage the peace of Sindh by creating dispute among the workers and office bearers of different political parties. They urged the government to ensure immediate legal action against the involved culprits without any discrimination.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 17. Additional sessions Judge Mirpurkhas 1, has ordered to set free to 17 bonded labours including women and children following recording their statements here on Wednesday. Report said that Manji Bheel had been submitted the application to the court of district and sessions court Mirpurkhas stated that 17 bonded labours were forced to take labour works at the lands of Rasheed Khanzada in Deh 308-A taluka Kot Ghulam Mohammad while they were not allowed to move freely and requested to order the concerned police to recover them. Court ordered to SHO Kot Ghulam Mohammad in this regard, while KGM police carried out raid at the land of Rasheed Khanzada and recovered the 17 bonded labours. On Wednesday, police produced them in the court of additional sessions Judge Mirpurkhas. Affected recovered bonded labours including Lakhano Bheel , Shremti Pathani, Arif Bheel and others told the newsmen that they were detained at the land of above landlord while forced labour work was being taken from them there even they were not allowed to go to their relatives.
