MIRPURKHAS Feb 15. President district Mirpurkhas bar association Salahuddin Panhwer advocate has said that on the call of all Pakistan lawyers council boycott of courts was made also here by the lawyers on Monday against the cancellation of summary of chief justice by president Asif Ali Zardari. Besides, President peoples lawyers’ forum Mirpurkhas division Shamsuddin Sheikh advocate said that lawyers belong to Peoples lawyers forum did not boycott of the courts in the defunct Mirpurkhas division. 

MIRPURKHAS Feb 15. Hundreds of businessmen, shopkeepers and traders have held protest demonstration here on Sunday night at Market chowk to protest against the growing incident of robberies, snatching and theft in the city and police failure to nab the involved accused. Protesters blocked the main M.A.Jinnah road while they burnt also the tyres as result traffic was suspended for an hour. Led by president Anjuman e Tajiran Mirpurkhas Aneesur Rehman Shaikh, protesters raised slogans against the DPO Mirpurkhas and SPO city Ayub Dars. Speaking at the protesters leader Aneesur Rehman deplored that police had been failed to nab the involved accused while dozens of robberies and theft had been occurred in the city and its outskirts areas. He said that citizens particularly shopkeepers and traders are feeling themselves insecure due to present lawlessness condition of the city. He said that due to police failures affected people are not approaching to concerned police station for registration of their cases. He demanded the Sindh chief minister, Governor Sindh, provincial police officer, RPO Hyderabad and DIG Mirpurkhas to take immediate notice, ensure arresting of the involved culprits in the robberies and restore peaceful atmosphere. Later, DPO Mirpurkhas Muneer Ahmed Shaikh reached at Dholanabad at the whole seller shop of Mohammad Abid who had been deprived of RS 125000, a Rado watch, NIC and driving license by two unknown robbers in the robbery where, Aneesur Rehman Shaikh and various traders also present. DPO listened the whole incident and assured to deploy the police guards at different places in the markets to avert any untoward incident.

MIRPURKHAS Feb 15. President Sindh Para medical staff welfare association has strongly condemned the deep conspiracy of retired person Musharraf and his accomplices to fail the national Polio campaign in Sindh. In a press statement issued here on Monday, he said that he is legal and official president of the above association but unfortunately a retired person Musharraf and his accomplices are running the fake organization with name of his association for black mailing the officials. He said that recently above so-called person had hatched conspiracy to fail the national polio campaign by announcing the boycott of this campaign through his newspaper statements. He said that polio campaign is the national cause and country will be defamed with its failure. He advised the all para medical staff to not give importance of statements of so-called fake person and took massive part in the polio campaign to make successful it. He said that foundation day of his association will be celebrated from Feb 22 to 28 Feb in the province during this he added that fruits and sweets would be distributed in the government hospitals and ceremonies would also be held. 
 
 
MIRPURKHAS Feb 15. Unknown thieves have stolen defence saving certificates and regular income certificates of millions of rupees by breaking the locks of treasury of General post office Mirpurkhas here on Sunday late night. Report said that unknown thieves barged into the general post office and broke the locks of the delivery , lockers and treasury rooms and taken away defence saving and regular income certificates of millions of rupees. Town inspector of GPO Mirpurkhas Khalid Zafar has lodged the case with town police station accusing that unknown thieves broke the locks of treasury room and stolen 215 defence saving and regular income certificates. Senior post master Rao Mohammad Amin told the newsmen that neither any signature nor any stamp was fixed on the stolen certificates and they were not issued officially to anybody so they were like only pieces of papers.
