MIRPURKHAS March 6. To overcome the problem of illegal encroachments at main roads in the city , DDO revenue taluka Mirpurkhas has been issued the notices to over a hundred illegal encroachers who had been established illegal encroachments at Sir Syed road, Khisak Pura, Gaoshala road etc . When contacted DDO revenue taluka Mirpurkhas Ammara Aamir Khatak told that following receiving the complaints by citizens as well as various associations regarding the illegal encroachments, she has been issued the notices of seven days for removal the illegal encroachments. She further said that no any woman and man could walk in Khisak Pura and added that streets of the Khisak Pura were occupied by illegal encroachers and all such kind of encroachments would be removed to clear the streets. She said that land mafia had sold the government land to people for establishing the illegal encroachments. She said that she was accompanied by officials of TMA Mirpurkhas during her visit of the roads and streets of the city. She appealed the citizens to cooperate with officials to remove the illegal encroachments in the city.
 
MIRPURKHAS March 6. Three cases have been lodged with town police station here on Saturday in connection of arsoning of a passenger bus, shops in old Lunda Bazaar and a general store. Report said that Zahir Shah Pathan lodged the case with town police station accusing that unknown persons set on fire the shops in Old Lunda bazaar and a chiken shop as result owners suffered about RS 5 lakhs. Abdul Hakeem, resident of Umerkot has registered the case, accusing that unknown persons set on fire the passenger bus of Mir Saleem company no 955388 that was parked near railway station Mirpurkhas as result whole bus was ablaze. Zubair Ahmed, resident of Lalchandabad lodged the case in which accused that Ahmed Bikaneri had set on fire his general store as result he suffered over RS 30000. It may be recalled that accused Ahmed Bikaneri was already arrested by town police on Friday morning.
 
MIRPURKHAS March 6. PPP Sindh ladies wing organizer Parveen Basheer Kaim Khani has said that she is making efforts to resolve the differences created among the office bearers and workers of the party after murder of senior worker Ali Akbar Panhwer here and in this connection she is approaching to federal minister for inter provincial relation Pir Aftab Hussain Shah Jilani and MNA and district president Mir Munawar Ali Khan Talpure for holding joint meeting to resolve the issue of death of worker Ali Akbar Panhwer. She was talking to local newsmen here on Saturday at circuit house. She further said that she is visiting the all districts of the province to reorganize the ladies wing through out province. She expressed that more than women even young girls are joining the party and added that president PPP government has been given more than jobs to jobless people without any discrimination while co chairman of the party Asif Ali Zardari had been launched the different aid programmes for poor women in the country including Youth training programme, Shaheed Benazeer income support programme, houses for homeless poor women. In reply the questions, she said that Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had first time been given representation to women in assemblies. She said that reorganization work of ladies wing had been completed at Karachi, and work of Mirpurkhas division will be completed within a day. She said that PPP will take part in local body election along with coalition partners and added that his party will sweep in coming local body election in the country.
 
MIRPURKHAS March 6. President Atta Chaki association district Mirpurkhas Abdul Rasheed Abbasi, general secretary Malik Nadeem Ahmed and vice president Abdul Hameed Khan have accused that district food controller Mirpurkhas receiving alleged bribe RS 20 per bag of wheat from chaki owners for issuance them wheat bags while he , they alleged that had been involved to smuggle the wheat bags in big quantity from here through private persons after receiving big commission . They were talking to newsmen at local press club here on Saturday. They told that record procurement of wheat about over 8 lakhs wheat bags were made in Mirpurkhas region in season of 2009 and government announced its liberal policy and ended the quota system. However, they added that district food controller Mirpurkhas Nasrullah Chandio took illegal benefit of this government’s policy and started to receive RS 50 to 100 per bag from chaki owners for issuance them 100 wheat bags. They said that DFC with the help of clerk Shabab Akhtar had been missing the challan farms of the chaki owners and then on the base of those missing many challan farms DFC sold more than quantity of wheat bags to flour mills and involved also in trade of wheat bags as result mostly godowns at Hingorno, Digri, Kot Ghulam Mohammad, Jhuddo, Samaro, Tando Jan Mohammad, Pithoro, Dhoro Naro, Naokot, Umerkot, Nabisar etc have been empty . They said that DFC had been issued lakhs of wheat bags but there was not so many consumption of wheat or flour in this region as result flour crisis will be created here. They alleged that due to behave and corruption of the DFC, small chaki owners are disturbed and disappointed. They demanded the president Asif Ali Zardari and prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani to take immediately notice of corruption and order an impartial inquiry regarding issuance of more than wheat bags from this region against no having so much consumption of wheat or flour in the region, otherwise they would be compelled to launch protest campaign against the food department.
