MIRPURKHAS March 15. At least 14 Afghan foreigners were arrested in raid by Satellite town police here on Monday. Report said that on a tip off, Satellite town police carried out raid at Bhansinghabad and apprehended 14 Afghan foreigners and recovered from their possession Afghan camp cards. Satellite town police have lodged the case under section 14 foreign act against them.
 
MIRPURKHAS March 15. Members national assembly reserved seats of Muttehda Quami Movement MQM Fozia Aijaz Khan, Naheed Shahid Ali and MPA Heer Soho have said that the all the funds of MNAs of reserves seats of female MQM had been utilized throughout Sindh province particularly where there is no chance nearly to win any seat of assembly by MQM and it was all made on the directives of leader Altaf Hussain as he wanted to resolve all the grievances of the masses living also in rural areas and far flung areas of the Sindh province. Speaking at a joint press conference here on Monday at local MQM zonal office Mirpurkhas. They said that all their funds were utilized for schemes of development works including construction of metallic roads, water tanks, community halls, water supply schemes, electrification etc. They deplored that unfortunately funds of Sindh government were not properly utilized even they were mostly lapsed. They said that millions of rupees of their funds were utilized in the district Mirpurkhas and added that they had acquired extra funds for development works. They said that we given only development schemes and government institutions were implemented on their schemes. They said that they were working under the vision of leader Altaf Hussain. They further said that we would held further press conferences in other parts of the Sindh to apprise the people regarding utilization of the millions of funds in interior Sindh including Gambat, Shahdadpur, Larkana, Mirpurkhas etc. In a reply a question, MPA Heer Soho hoped that local body election will be held in Sindh and MQM will take part in election massively.
 
MIRPURKHAS March 15. Traders have shutter down in Digri town here on Monday morning following a dacoity committed by 6 armed dacoits in a shop of jeweler while police have apprehended four involved accused and recover vehicles and looted gold ornaments. Report said that 6 unknown armed persons reached at Sarafa bazaar in Digri town on two stolen bikes that were stolen from Mirpurkhas and entered into the jewelary shop of Seth Chundi Ram. They made hostage to all inmates of the shop and looted gold ornaments weight 45 tola and three and half lakhs cash and made heavy aerial firing before fleeing from there on their bikes. DPO Mirpurkhas Muneer Ahmed Shaikh immediately ordered to cordon off the area. While traders have closed their shops in the protest in Digri town. Report received that dacoits had left their bikes and boarded in a car and then another car while near Tando Ghulam Ali police have apprehended four involved dacoits identified as Nadeem Shaikh, Shahid Shahani, Afzal Ali and Shakeel Ahmed during police checking of the vehicles. Police have recovered cash, gold ornaments, a stolen bike, a vehicle and unlicensed arms from their possession. Police said that all the involved dacoits belong to Larkana and Jacobabad. DPO Mirpurkhas Muneer Ahmed Shaikh told this correspondent that owing to prompt effective measures of police four dacoits have been rounded up while hoped that remaining two their accomplices would soon be nabbed as police parties were searching them at their suspected places. Sources said that escaped two dacoits were identified as Fauji Jalbani and Nadir Shah. Case has been lodged under section 324, 395, 17/3, and 6/7 Anti terrorism act ATA with Digri police station against the above accused on the complaint of Chundi Ram Lohano.
 
MIRPURKHAS March 15. A five years old boy was seriously injured when parts of plaster of the roof of his house fell down upon him at Satellite town here on Monday. Report said that Haneef, 5, son of Mohammad Aslam was brought in serious condition with serious head injuries in emergency of civil hospital where he was provided first aid and then referred for LMUH Hyderabad due to precarious condition.
 
MIRPURKHAS March 15. A teenager girl was brought along with bullet wounds in emergency ward of civil hospital Mirpurkhas here on Monday night from Siaal colony. Initial report said that unknown person shot Ms Rani, 18, d/o Nazeer Bhatti, resident of Siaal colony, injured while she was in serious condition and doctors were providing her medical treatment in emergency ward.
