MIRPURKHAS April 14. A worker of PPP and local leader of Ghosia Jamaat Mirpurkhas was gunned down by his brother at Siaal colony here on Wednesday late night. Report said that Sardar Siaal and Khadim Siaal , both brothers had been disputed over the joint properties, while their uncle had also been decided the disputed matter but again both disputed during which suddenly Khadim Siaal opened fires on his brother Sardar Siaal, 35, son of Ali Mohammad Siaal as result he was killed of serious bullet injuries at the spot. SHO town Mohammad Amin Mari reached at the spot and shifted the body to civil hospital for autopsy. SHO told the newsmen that accused Khadim Siaal was himself surrendered at town police station and claiming of committing murder. Police said that some three suspected had been detained by town police. The body of the deceased was handed over to his heirs after post mortem from civil hospital Mirpurkhas. However no case of this murder was lodged with town police station till filing of the news.
MIRPURKHAS April 14. Board of intermediate and secondary education Mirpurkhas announced it’s schedule of the annual examination of 9th and 10th classes from 18th April in the Mirpurkhas region. In this connection all the arrangements have been finalized by the board. Barkat Qureshi, assistant controller examination told the newsmen here on Thursday that total 54000 girls and boys’ candidates would take part in the annual exam in Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Umerkot and Tharparkar districts while 121 examination centers had been setup for this purpose. He said that examination slips have been issued to the candidates through their educational insitutes and if any candidate did not receive the slip should contact with controller examination of the board. He said that we were seeking the cooperation of teachers, civil society, parents and candidates to stop the use of unfair means during annual exam. He added that 15 vigilance teams have been formed comprising EDOs education, board of governors and members of educational board for monitoring the exam at 121 examination centers. He expressed that directives had been issued to candidates that they would not use any mobile cell phone and cheating materials in the premises of examination center. He expressed that any candidate found using unfair means during exam will be ousted from the examination center and will be disqualify for 1 to 3 years according to his offence. A control room has been setup headed by controller examination Rana Javed Yousuf that will take immediate action on the received complaint. MIRPURKHAS April 14. President Sanghar press club Ashfaque Ahmed Bhatti has come under armed attack in Sanghar town by two masked armed motor cyclists on Wednesday night. Report received that senior journalist and president of Sanghar press club Ashfaque Ahmed Bhatti was on his way to house from press club in his car that two unknown masked armed motor cyclists opened fires on him as result bullets were penetrated in his car, while fortunately he remained unhurt. The armed motor cyclists escaped away as the citizen gathered at the spot. Later, attempt to murder case was lodged with Sanghar police station against the two unknown armed motor cyclists by victim Ashfaque Ahmed Bhatti. Later, DPO Sanghar Abdullah Shaikh met with Ashfaque Ahmed Bhatti and get information about the whole incident and assured that involved culprits would soon be arrested. Meanwhile emergency meeting of Sanghar press club was held on Thursday presided by general secretary Mohammad Raza Khan that was attended by dozens of local journalists including Aslam Memon and Sagheer Ahmed Rajput. Meeting demanded the higher authorities to ensure immediate nabbing the involved culprits and punish them exemplary.
 
MIRPURKHAS April 14. Token hunger strike was observed by Sindh tarraqi Passand party district Sanghar on Thursday in front of Sanghar press club to protest against the intervention of an organization that was willing to change the Sindhi population in minority in the province. Report said that office bearers and workers including Dilmurad Dahni, Shahnawaz Naik, Abdul Jabbar Junejo, Allah Jurio Magsi and others observed the token hunger strike. Hunger strikers, talking to newsmen accused that government had been handed over the house counting Census campaign to an organization that wanted to change the majority of Sindhi people into minority while in present condition; they alleged that many houses of Sindhi people would not be registered in the campaign and we had been informed to DCO Sanghar in this regard but no action was yet appeared. They demanded the higher authorities to take notice and ensure registration of all houses during census campaign in Sanghar district.
