MIRPURKHAS March 31. Hundreds of Kolhi caste people have held demonstration and blocked the main Mirwah Mirpurkhas road here on Wednesday near buffolow colony at Mirwah Mirpurkhas road to protest against the murder of Kanji Kolhi. Protesters placed the body of the deceased at the main road and blocked it as result traffic was suspended for one and half hour. Later SHO taluka Ghulam Rasool Thaheem reached there and assured the protesters that their murder case will be lodged on which they dispersed peacefully. It may be recalled that seriously injured Kanji Kolhi was died of serious wounds at LMUH Hyderabad on Wednesday early morning, who along with Hero Kolhi were injured seriously when armed persons had attacked upon them with sticks. Case under section 324, 337-A (i) and 337-F (i) was lodged with taluka police station on March 22, on the complaint of Walji Kolhi, resident of Wakeel Bagh against the accused Allah Dino and Anwer. Both injured were removed to civil hospital Mirpurkhas for medical assistance after which one of the injured Kanji Kolhi was referred for LMUH Hyderabad due to his precarious condition. Taluka police had been arrested one of the nominated accused Allah Dino while other accused Anwer was still
at large. Following the death of injured Kanji Kolhi, previous attempt to murder case has been changed as murder case by the taluka police.

MIRPURKHAS March 31. DPO Mirpurkhas Muneer Ahmed Shaikh as inquiry officer of rape case of Shremti Kastori of Nagarparkar has been initiated the inquiry here on Wednesday following the order of provincial police officer who appointed the inquiry officer of this case to DPO Mirpurkhas. Victim Shremti Kastori, 17, daughter of Novo Kolhi , her father Novo Kolhi, her cousin Veerji Kolhi , accused of the case Ramzan Khoso, Habibullah Khoso, Ghulam Nabi Khoso and Veeryo Girro were appeared before the inquiry officer who recorded the statements of both sides people and then decided to conduct the inquiry at the site of incident to ascertain the facts of this incident. Later, talking to media men DPO told that after one month of this incident victim approached to police for registration of their case while during this sign of rap removed as her medical report showed that sign of rap had been removed due to her late medical examination. He said that he will take evidences from circumstances while victim’s relatives assured that those people had been recovered the victim girl from the autaq of Raees Bachal Khan after this incident would give witnesses in this regard. He said that he will go to Nagarparkar on April 3, for conducting the inquiry into this matter. Later, Veerji Kolhi, cousin of the victim girl told the newsman that on Jan 24, Shremti Kastori , 17, was kidnapped by two armed men from village Nokrio, taluka Nagarparkar and then she was taken to Autaq of Raees Bachal Khan where accused Ramzan Khoso allegedly raped with her. He expressed that due to pressure of influential personalities her case was not lodged with Nagarparkar police station while after submitting the legal petition in the Sindh high court Hyderabad circuit bench, Nagarparakar police have lodged the rap case of Shremti Kastori, on Feb 17, on the complaint of Novo Kolhi, father of the victim girl against the accused Ramzan Khoso, Habibullah Khoso, Ghulam Nabi Kohoso and Weeryo Girro. However, he deplored that police did not arrested the accused even implicated their 8 persons in false case on behalf of state to force them to withdraw the rape case. He alleged that investigative officer of the rape case Hameer Chand did not include their statements in the challan before submitting in the court and spoiled the case by submitting the incomplete challan in the district and sessions court Tharparkar. While, he accused that investigative officer has removed the names of accused Ghulam Nabi Khoso and Habibullah Khoso from the FIR before the submitting the challan. He further said that other two accused Ramzan Khoso and Veeryo Girro were granted bail before arrest by the sessions court Tharparkar as the case had been spoiled or weak by the investigative officer. He said that later, DPO Tharparkar suspended the investigative officer Hameer Chand. He said that April 16 is the next hearing of this case in the sessions court Tharparkar.
