MIRPURKHAS Aug 30. Following the heavy rainfall in the district also like other areas of the country, all the 16 cotton and ginning factories have started their season and purchasing the cotton crop from cotton growers, however complaints also received of illegal deduction of the 1 kilogramme cotton from per maund cotton by ginners . Report said that cotton and ginning factories had been halted their function during the heavy rainfall, however now cotton ploughing has been intensified after being dry the agriculture lands and crop was being transported to cotton and ginning factories. Owing to short supply of cotton its rate has been increased from RS 2300 per maund to RS 2675 per maund. District officer agriculture extension Mirpurkhas Yar Mohammad Khaskheli said that there was fixed target of 40000 hectors for cotton sowing this year but unfortunately owing to acute shortage of water in the district cotton was sowed at 34000 hectors . However due to heavy rainfall cotton crop suffered 15 percent damages. He said that department had been received the complaints regarding the illegal deduction of 1 kilogram cotton per maund by the ginners on account of moisture or any other reason and added that this practice is not only illegal but due to it the growers suffer financial losses. He further said that keeping in view the growers grievances regarding the matter on the last year’s pattern department had constituted a four member committee comprising chairman district officer agriculture extension Mirpurkhas, members representative of Sindh abadgar board, representative of Sindh chamber of agriculture and representative of Pakistan cotton ginners association. He told that after receiving the complaints he convened the meeting of the above committee in which he warned the cotton ginners not to illegal deduct of one kilogramme cotton per maund on the pretext of moisture and added that if he found guilty during the surprise visit of the cotton ginning factories he will take action against guilty cotton factory as per provision of cotton control act 1966. He advised the cotton growers to submit him complaint against the cotton factory deducting illegally the 1 kilogramme of cotton per maund for taking legal action. 
 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 30. EDO health Mirpurkhas Dr Shafqat Hussain Dahri has said that due to expected spreading diseases after recently Monsoon rainfall  health department had been taken massive effective measures in the district to save the people from diseases and added that ORS and Puritab were being distributed in the district through lady health workers and other medical staff. Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he further said that directives had been given to all the TMAs of the district for taking special measures to provide cleanliness or purified water and cleanliness while he said that anti mosquito spray and medicines of Malaria disease have been provided to TMAs while he also directed the concerned authorities to launch anti rouming dog campaign in their respected limits, he said.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 29. Chairman Farmer organization council FOC Sindh chapter Javed Ali Junejo has accused that irrigation department is the responsible to bring devastation in 17 districts of the Sindh province by flooding them and it was also destroying the cultivated different crops including cotton, chili, seed of onion , sugarcane and vegetables in saved districts Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Sanghar, Khairpur and Tharparkar by creating acute artificial shortage of water in the canals and distributaries. In a press statement issued here on Sunday, he said that executive engineers of Jamrao and Mithrao divisions had been sent to flood affected areas and sensitive dykes in upper Sindh while taking benefit of their absence, lower grade officers and officials of irrigation department have created artificial acute shortage of water by stoppage of water supply in distributaries and minors. He expressed that Eid ul Fitr was near and irrigation department officers and officials have increased their rate of bribe and artificial shortage of water created when abadgars and landlords refused them to pay increased bribe, he alleged. He further accused that irrigation department officials wanted to totally devastate the agriculture sector of the Sindh province as despite flowing sufficient quantity of water 15000 cusec discharge in Nara canal head, over 110 distributaries and minors were lying dry out of total 162 distributaries and minors in the command area of Nara canal . He deplored that despite adequate storage of water in Chotiari dam, it was being filled more despite the need of water for agriculture purpose in agriculture field . He expressed that many channels were lying dry of Jamrao, Mithrao, Khipro canal and Thar canal as result cotton , chili, onion seed, sugar cane, vegetables etc that had been saved from heavy rainfall were destroying as result agriculture sector of this region will suffer billions of losses and target of production of cotton crop might not be achieved. He demanded the president Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Sindh chief minister, Governor Sindh and other authorities to take immediate notice into this matter and save the cash crops in this region. 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 29. SHO taluka Mirpurkhas and SPO city Mirpurkhas should be nominated in the FIR of murder of Shaheed Mohammad Imran, 25, son of Faryad Rajput who was killed in firing of law enforcing agencies on August 23 at near Gulzar Masjid at Mirwah Gorchani town. This was expressed by ex nazim union council Mirwah Gorchani Ch Ahsan Arain , Naib Nazim Ali Ahmed Gorchani, ex Naib zonal incharge MQM Mirpurkhas zone Khalid Tabassum, Rana Javed, Shamshad Ali, Master Zafaryaab and others, while talking to newsmen here on Sunday at local press club. They said that insulting religious words were deliberately written on the walls near Bhemomal colony (Meghwar colony) after which people were anguish and surrounded the above colony for catching the culprits but law enforcing agencies reached there even SHO taluka Chetan Kolhi and SPO city Mirpurkhas Mohammad Ayub Dars were also reached there where they misguided the district administration and without any cause, law enforcing agencies launched tear gas shelling and even resorted heavy strait firing as result Mohammad Imran Rajput who was returning to home from agriculture land received bullet wounds and died on the spot while various persons were injured. They accused that SHO taluka and SPO city Mirpurkhas were responsible of this incident as they misguided the district administration after which tear gas shells and heavy strait firing were resorted. They said that minority people in Mirwah Gorchani town have been living sofar in peaceful atmosphere among Muslim population without any fear and still their houses were saved but few minority people including Hera Lal and an ex provincial minister for minority who is also close personality of the high ranking officer of the country also misguided the administration and higher authorities of the government with reference of this incident even district administration without any cause shifted some minority families to other places and made wrong propaganda for Muslims and Ulmas. They said that no any Muslim could ignore the insulting religious words. They called the media men, human rights organizations and NGOs to visit the site and saw the ground reality that will prove the baseless and fabricated allegations leveled upon the Muslims of the Mirwah Gorchani town. They deplored that despite giving the names of accused of murder of Mohammad Imran Rajput, police administration registered the murder case with taluka police station against law enforcing agency without showing any name which is injustice with the Muslims and demanded the government to take notice and include the names of SHO taluka Chetan Kolhi and SPO city Mirpurkhas Mohammad Ayub Dars in the murder case to give justice of bereaved family.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 27. District government Mirpurkhas has been impounded the dozens of vehicles including buses, trucks and coaches for sending to Thatta for providing transportation to the people for going to safer places from Thatta after official warning of evacuating the Thatta city here on Friday . Report said that Mukhtiarkars and DDOs of all the 6 talukas of the district have impounded the many buses, trucks and coaches which would leave the city on Friday evening. The impounded vehicles were parked at different places while district government were making arrangements to sent them to Thatta for providing travel facilities to the people following the official warning of evacuating the Thatta city.
MIRPURKHAS Aug 27. Under Muttehda Quami Movement MQM Mirpurkhas zone, three loaded trucks comprising ration goods, cloths, mineral water bottles of RS 8 lakhs have been left the city for Thatta and Dadu districts for providing to flood affected people here on Friday . Report said that On dispatching time of the above trucks zonal incharge MQM Mirpurkhas Azem Danish, Joint zonal incharge Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Khalid Majeed , Haq Parast MPA Faheem Ahmed Altafi and workers were also present . Talking to newsmen zonal incharge Azeem Danish said that donations from people were collected by MQM workers and rations were purchased even donations and rations were also collected in the setup relief camps in the district. He appealed the philanthropists to come forward at this time and give more than donations and ration items for help of the marooned and displaced people.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 26. Complete strike was observed by the medical stores and drug sellers in the city on the call of Chemist and drug association district Mirpurkhas here on Thursday to protest against growing crime and dacoity committed in day light at drug suppliers agency at Lalchandabad. During this hundreds of medical stores and Pharmacy owners have held demonstration and sit in outside the Municipal shopping center at M.A.Jinnah road to protest against the police failure to arrest the culprits and growing crime rate in the city. Protesters led by Mohammad Rafique Arain, president chemist and drug association district Mirpurkhas, carried banners and placards raised slogans against the police and demanding the authorities to nab the involved culprits. They blocked the main M.A.Jinnah road as result traffic was suspended for half an hour as result traffic was suspended. They accused that police were not registering their case of dacoity as they said that unknown armed persons on Wednesday entered into the drug agency of Mohammad Rafique at Lalchandabad and on gun point they looted Cash 198000, cash RS 18000 from 6 employees, 6 mobiles and cartoons of medicines. They further said that they had been closed their drug stores in protest after this incident . During this DPO Mirpurkhas Zulfikar Maher and SPO city Mirpurkhas Mohammad Ayub Dars reached at the spot and negotiated with the office bearers of the association. Later DPO assured them that their FIR will be lodged with concerned police station and culprits would soon be apprehended after which protesters dispersed peacefully. Later, Mohammad Rafique Arain has lodged the case under section 392 and 34 PPC with town police against the 3 unknown armed persons. 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 26. Citizens were experiencing hardships owing to prolong load shedding by hesco during Sahar, Iftar and Tarawih timings for last a week in the city. Social workers and civil society people have strongly condemned the prolong load shedding by hesco and demanded the authorities to take notice of prolong load shedding during Ramzan month and end it without any delay otherwise citizens would be compelled to launch the protest campaign against the Hesco authorities. Social worker Kamran Khan Kaim Khani and vice president Sindh abadgar board SAB district Mirpurkhas chapter Haji Abdul Ghafoor Maher advocate have strongly condemned of frequent prolong load shedding and demanded the hesco authorities to take notice end the prolong load shedding in Ramzan month otherwise citizens would come on the streets for launching protest campaign against hesco. They accused that hesco officers were covering power stealing by prolong load shedding and issuing fake detection bills to the consumers. 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 26. Ex wife, sons and relatives have been nominated in the murder case of lineman 1, of hesco Mirpurkhas division Azhar Mehmood Arain here on Thursday. Nisar Arain, cousin of the deceased Azhar Mehmood Arain , has lodged the murder case with Satellite town police station and nominated Waqas Arain and Waqar Arain, deceased’s sons, Ms Rukhsana, ex wife of the deceased and Shahid Arain and Abid Arain, relatives of the deceased. It may be recalled that Azhar Mehmood Arain, lineman 1, hesco Mirpurkhas division was going to school of his son on his bike on Wednesday early morning to leave his son that hidden unknown armed person with masked appeared suddenly near Fazal Chowk, ground no 2, of Satellite town and opened fires upon him as result Azhar Mehmood Arain sustained serious multiple bullet wounds and died in the way to civil hospital, while fortunately his son was escaped unhurt. Learnt that deceased had allegedly been divorced his wife and dispute was ongoing between him and his ex wife and sons over property. Report said that Satellite town investigation police have arrested the some nominated accused, kept them at unknown destination and interrogation was being made with them. However police declined to discuss and giving information in this regard.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 25. Provincial minister for education Pir Mazharul Haq has said that Media should pay its vital role in the critical condition of the country to guide the people including Philanthropists to come forward for help of flood affected people instead to create a stir as some anchor persons were talking to call the Military generals and added that there was need of work to help the flood affected people in the country. He was talking to newsmen here on Wednesday at the relief camp of education department Mirpurkhas setup at post office chowk. On this occasion EDO education Jalil Lashari, officers of education department and office bearers of teachers associations were also present. He further said that big devastation had been occurred in the country while various districts of upper Sindh were adversely affected of flood water and lakhs of people were marooned and displaced from their ancestral places for safer places while in setup official relief camps government was providing meals, cloths, ration, tents , medical treatment and other facilities to the flood affectees . He expressed that a number of affected people were waiting of the relief goods and tents still in their areas while government is making help to the affectees under its resources along with different NGOs and foreign aid. He said that Media cameras could not cover the wide spread devastation particularly in Sindh province. He expressed his happiness for setting up relief camp by education department and said that he had been directed the secretary education Sindh for visits of affected areas of the province and today he is visiting the district Hyderabad and said that education department is also helping the government agencies incase of flood affectees. He said that Philanthropists and commen people should come forward to help of the needy people by giving donations and goods under their resources and limit. He said that throughout province including Mirpurkhas, PPP office bearers had been setup relief camps where they were collecting the relief goods, ration and cash donations for help of the flood affected people. 

MIRPURKHAS Aug 25. Following directives of sessions court Mirpurkhas, Ms Nasreen Mughal, resident of Gulshan Haider has lodged the case with town police station here on Tuesday night accusing that Saleem Arain and Saleem Malik alias Shuai both resident of Satellite town had been demanded her RS 2 lakhs for withdraw the case against her son and when she refused them they issued her threats of dire consequences. She added that she had been submitted application in the town police station for taking legal action against the accused but no vain after which she approached to district and sessions court Mirpurkhas and after proceeding Additional sessions Judge 1 Mirpurkhas Ms Zareena Abbasi ordered to register the case against the accused.
 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 25. MNA Mir Munawar Ali Khan Talpure has said that all necessary things of life would be sent for help of flood affected people. He was talking to gathering at Shaheed Benazeer Bhutto exhibition hall at fruit farm here on Wednesday while he was examining the goods , rations, cloths, etc collected by district administration Mirpurkhas, NGOSs, political and social organizations for flood affected people . He further said that PPP and its different wings and organizations are helping of the flood affectees. DCO Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Memon, on this occasion said that goods in 10 trucks would be sent to Larkana in leadership of MNA Mir Munawar Ali Khan Talpure on Thursday from here and added that ration items were purchased of RS 30 lakhs from utility stores. He appealed the elected representatives to take more part in this social work. He said that relief goods being sent to Larkana comprising mineral water bottles, cloths, rations items and other things.
 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 25. Dozens of primary teachers including women have held demonstration here on Wednesday in front of local press club to protest against failure of government for issuing them their 8 months due salaries . Protesters led by Mohammad Yahya, Safyan Memon and Ms Zeenat , carried banners and placards blocked the main Mirpurkhas Hyderabad road by staging sit in while they were demanding the government to provide them their due salaries. Talking to newsmen protesters said that they were appointed in Jan 2010 after clearing the test under Sindh University but despite passing 8 months they were deprived of their salaries even they were facing acute financial crisis. They said that they had been complained various times to EDO education Mirpurkhas and DCO Mirpurkhas in this regard but no vain. They demanded the Sindh chief minister, Governor Sindh and chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chohadhry to take immediate notice into this matter and ensure immediately payment of their 8 months due salaries.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 24. Hesco lineman 1, Mirpurkhas division was shot dead by unknown assailant at Fazal chowk, near ground no 2, Satellite town here on Tuesday morning. Report said that Azhar Mehmood Arain, lineman 1, was presently performing his duty with disconnection team of Hesco Satellite town sub division. He was going to school to leave his son at his bike that a unknown masked armed person hidden in the way suddenly appeared and opened fires upon him as result He sustained three bullet injuries , rushed to civil hospital but in the way he was expired, while fortunately his son was escaped unhurt from the firing. The armed unknown person fled away from the spot. Satellite town police reached at the spot for getting the information. Hundreds of employees of Hesco gathered at the civil hospital during postmortem of the deceased. Chairman wapda hydro electric labour union Mirpurkhas division Ghulam Akbar Leghari and secretary Mohammad Yousuf Soomro have strongly condemned the district administration and demanded the authorities to control the growing crime including lawlessness in the district particularly in the city Mirpurkhas by taking drastic measures and ensure arresting of the culprit involved in the murder. However no heir of the deceased was reached at Satellite town police station for registration of the murder case till filing of the news.
 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 24. Satellite town police were yet failed to get clue regarding the robbers involved in robbery of RS 10 lakhs. Report said that on Monday in day light, four armed car occupants intercepted a car at Tanki road in Satellite town on gun point and looted cash RS 10 lakhs , two mobile cell phones and key of the car from Abdullah Randhawa, landlord of New Dumbalo town and fled away in their car. Report said that Landlord Abdullah Randhawa had been acquired the cash from the local bank and was going towards his town that this incident occurred. Abdullah Randhawa has lodged the case with Satellite town police station against the 4 unknown robbers. Satellite town investigation police were failed to nab the involved robbers.
 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 24. District and sessions Judge Mirpurkhas Rasheed Ahmed Soomro has set free the 35 recovered bonded labours including women and children produced in the court by Dilber Maher police here on Tuesday. Report said that session’s judge had been ordered the Dilber Maher police for recovery of 35 peasants from illegal captivity of landlord Gul Mohammad Mangrio and produced them in the court following receiving the complaint. On Monday Dilber Maher police carried out raid at the farm land of above landlord and recovered the 35 bonded labours including women and children . After being free by sessions court , bonded labours including Chitra, Pehlaj, Lalo, Partab, Harchand, Ms Ganga, Meena, Haleema, Himali, Soomri etc told the newsmen that they were working at the farm land of the above landlord since 2 years but he did give them their share in crops even detained them at his farm and they were not allowed to move freely. They demanded the government to ensure accounts of their crops and their share from crops. 

MIRPURKHAS Aug 24. Complete strike was observed in Mirwah Gorchani town and Jhuddo town on Tuesday to protest against the killing of a innocent citizen by ranger personnel at Mirwah Gorchani town and Hundreds of citizens of Mirwah Gorchani town have held demonstration near Gulzar Masjid in Mirwah Gorchani town to protest against DPO Mirpurkhas and killing of innocent person by law enforcing agency. All the markets and bazaars remained closed in Mirwah Gorchani town and Jhuddo town. Panic remained prevail in the towns. While in protest demonstration Mirwah Gorchani town , protesters carried banners and placards raised slogans against the DPO Mirpurkhas and demanding the authorities to ensure registration of the murder case against involved ranger personnel. Protesters raised slogans against the DPO Mirpurkhas and demanded his immediate replacement and registration of murder case of Imran against the involved officials. Heavy contingents of police were deployed at the Bhemomal colony in Mirwah Gorchani town to avert any further untoward incident. However, On the complaint of Tarique Shafique, case under section 295-A, 298 and 506(ii) PPC with taluka police station against accused Faqeeria, Cheta, Kirshan, Mukesh, Prem, Hira and Ramchand. However no accused was yet lodged till filing of the news.  
Meanwhile, Chairman Mirpurkhas action committee Kanji Rano Bheel, in his press statement issued here on Tuesday has strongly condemned the armed attack on the houses of schedule caste people in Mirwah Gorchani town by religious extremists while he said that there was fact that influential people wanted to occupy the plots, houses and business places of schedule caste people at Mirwah Gorchani town while he accused that in armed attack schedule caste people including women and children were also injured. He said that schedule caste people were forced to vacate their houses and plots at Mirwah Gorchani town and its outskirts areas by influential extremists. He said that schedule caste people were always made target during the religious matter. He demanded the higher authorities and human rights organizations to order the judicial inquiry into this matter withdraw the false case against innocent schedule caste people and redress the damages of the schedule caste people. It may be recalled that on Monday after creating the religious matter as unknown persons written the objectionable words at the walls near Bhemomal colony of Mirwah Gorchani town and after which hundreds of people surrounded the colony for taking into their custody the involved persons , later, rangers and police provided the safety to the schedule caste people and during this enraged people exchanged the fires with law enforcing agencies as result one Imran was killed and four persons including ranger and policeman were injured .

MIRPURKHAS Aug 23. One person was killed and four persons including police and ranger personnel were injured when fires exchanged between enraged protesters and rangers and police at a colony of minority people at Mirwah Gorchani town, some 25 kilometers away from here on Monday. Report received that on Monday early morning few persons saw a man was writing objectionable words at the wall and they tried to catch him but he escaped away towards the Bhemomal colony(Meghwar colony) after which hundreds of people gathered there and they surrounded the above colony and demanded the handing over the suspected person. During this rangers and police were reached at the spot, while DPO Mirpurkhas Zulfikar Maher and other police officers also arrived at the spot to control the situation. However, enraged people burnt the woods boundary of the colony and entered into the colony to catch the suspected person even they pelted at the houses of the colony stones. During this law enforcement personnel lauched the tear gas shells to disperse the enraged people however exchanged of fires took place between rangers personnel and enraged people as result one Imran , 30, was killed on the spot with fires of rangers personnel and 4 persons were injured including a ranger personnel and a police constable. The injured were Haq Nawaz, ranger personnel, police constable Abdul Rasher and two unknown persons. They were rushed to civil hospital Mirpurkhas for first aid. After this incident, All the shops and bazaars were closed of Mirwah Gorchani town in the protest and enraged protesters kept the body of deceased Imran at Mirwah Gorchani Digri road and held protest demonstration as result above main road was blocked and traffic was suspended for three hours. Heavy contingents of police and rangers were deployed at the above colony to avert or avoid further untoward incident and providing the protection to the people of above colony. Police have apprehended about 10 persons in charges of breaking the law. Later the deceased body was shifted to civil hospital for legal proceeding including autopsy. DPO Mirpurkhas Zulfikar Maher told the newsmen that heavy contingents of police and rangers were deployed at the sensitive above colony to provide protection to the colony people and avoiding the further untoward incident. He said that it is the sensitive religious matter and we are making efforts to resolve it soon. He further said that situation is in control now. Citizens of Mirwah Gorchani town said that police and rangers personnels fired without any cause as result a innocent youth was killed and some persons were injured. They further said that this if the administration takes help of political and social personalities then this incident was not occurred. Tense situation was prevailed in the Mirwah Gorchani town till filing of the news. 

MIRPURKHAS Aug 23. District government Mirpurkhas was collecting the donations from philanthropists, business community, mill owners etc for sending the ration for flood affectees. Report said that DCO Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Memon was taking personal interest to convince the notables and philanthropists of the district by holding meetings to give donations for flood affected people and during his a week long efforts collected over RS 20 lakhs sofar , while ration has been purchased of that money and packets of rations were being prepared at Shaheed Benazeer Bhutto hall at fruit farm in supervision of Ammara Aamir Khattak, DDO revenue taluka Mirpurkhas. Ammara Aamir Khattak, DDO revenue told the newsmen that flour bag, rice, Milk, matches, splice pulse, mineral bottles , prepared ladies, gents and children cloths about 8000 were also being packed in the ration packets and a ration packet is being prepared of RS 1700 and total 1700 packets were being prepared that would be sent on Monday in trucks to the relief camps in upper Sindh for distribution among the flood affected people. She further said that orders of buying further ration items have been given to incharge utility corporation Mirpurkhas. She said that day night work was continued to prepare the ration packets. DCO Mirpurkhas Ghulam Hussain Memon told that he had been given RS 5 lakhs for relief camp and following are the people and departments who have given donations in this regard for flood affected people as MNA Mir Munawar Ali Talpure RS 1 lakh, ex MPA Hari Ram Kishori Lal RS 1 lakh, MPA Shamim Aara Panhwer RS 10000, general secretary PPP ladies wing Mirpurkhas division Khairun Nisa Mughal RS 10000, Mirpurkhas sugar mill RS 2 lakhs, Al Abbas Sugar mill RS 3 lakhs, Digri sugar mill RS 1 lakh, Tharparkar sugar mill RS 1 lakh, provincial minister for agriculture Syed Ali Nawaz Shah RS 50000, cotton and ginning factories RS 7 lakhs, fertilizer dealers RS 2 and half lakhs, Patients welfare association RS 60000, Petrol pumps association RS 70000, ex nazim Yamin Narejo RS 50000, Ali Raza RS 25000, Red cresent association district Mirpurkhas given 600 bags of flour , rice and splice pulse packets etc. He further said that these ration packets would be sent to relief camps setup in district Larkana, Shikarpur, Qamber, Ghousepur , Shahdadkot etc. 
 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 23. Acute gastroenteritis disease has been spread in the city and rural areas of the district after heavy rainfall as number of patients of acute Gastro disease have been increased after drinking the contaminated water and daily 10 to 15 children of acute gastro disease were being brought in the Peads ward of the civil hospital however they were being treated despite shortage of medicines. Report said that Water born disease acute gastro has been prevailed here as patients of this disease were coming to civil hospital Mirpurkhas for taking medical treatment. Incharge peads ward of the civil hospital Mirpurkhas child specialist Dr Ghazi Khan Mari told that about 40 children of acute gastro disease were admitted in the ward and despite shortage of the medicines they were providing medical treatment them. He said that daily turned out of the acute gastro patient is about 10 patients. He said that daily 40 canola are required in the ward but only 20 canola were being provided and added that there is required Nepro Canola, drips including ring elected, Phasphomycin, etc in the ward. He said that use of contaminated water, fruits and other food items are the cause of this disease. He demanded the Philanthropists to provide aid to the civil hospital Mirpurkhas sothat it might be able to provide proper medical assistance to the patients.

MIRPURKHAS Aug 22. Demonstration and sit in were staged here on Sunday in front of local press club by civil society and social organizations to protest against kidnapping of Veerji Kolhi, social worker from Hyderabad by unknown persons. Protesters led by Kanji Rano Bheel advocate have chanted slogans against the police failure to recover the above social worker despite passing four days to his kidnapping. Carrying banners and placards they blocked the main Hyderabad Mirpurkhas road as result traffic was suspended for an hour. Protesters including Hero Bheel, Veero Bheel, Aasan Bheel, Ms Nihali, Gulabi, and others demanded the government to order the high level inquiry into this incident, arrest the involved culprits and recover the kidnappee. Speaking at the protesters Kanji Rano Bheel advocate, Pervez Haider and Amarchand accused that the administration and police were not taking interest to curb the crime particularly being committed against the schedule caste people as harassment and kidnapping and looting of the Schedule caste people was continued for long time in Hyderabad region even various schedule caste people had been killed brutally on the behest of feudal. . They deplored that kidnapping case of Veerji Kolhi had been lodged with police station of Hyderabad district but despite passing four days no involved culprit was yet nabbed. They demanded the president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, prime minister, chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chohadhry, provincial police officer PPO and RPO Hyderabad region to take immediate notice, ensure apprehending the involved accused and recovery of the kidnappee without any delay.
 
MIRPURKHAS Aug 22. Dozens of office bearers and workers of Jeay Sindh Quami Mahaz district Mirpurkhas have held demonstration here on Sunday in front of local press club to protest against the arresting of Sanan Qureshi, son of Basheer Khan Qureshi, leader of JSQM by Rangers at Karachi . Protesters led by Najaf Leghari, carried banners and placards demanding the government to immediate release the innocent Sanan Qureshi. Speaking at the protesters, leader Najaf Leghari said that anti Sindh powers were not enduring or tolerant  the arrival of Sindhi people at Karachi while JSQM was paying its massive role for those Sindhi speaking coming at Karachi . He said that Sindhi people would not bear the arresting of innocent Sanan Qureshi by rangers as unrest and resentment had already been prevailed among Sindhi people as report received regarding detention of Sanan Qureshi by Rangers. He demanded the government to take notice and ensure immediate releasing of Sanan Qureshi and suspension of Rangers personnel detained him. 

MIRPURKHAS August 22. In strait firing incident fortunately push cart owners were unrest or saved when armed Bhatta Mafia people opened firing upon them at Market chowk here on Friday night and damaged the fruits and other things etc. Report said that four armed motor cyclists learnt that Bhatta Mafia people came to Market chowk and demanded the Bhatta from some fruit sellers while they resorted strait firing and damaged the push carts and fruits when they refused to pay Bhatta , however fortunately push cart owners were saved . Shops were closed at Market chowk in protest after this incident and police were also reached at the spot to control the angry shopkeepers. Salahuddin Malik has lodged the case under section 324, 337-H(ii), 337-A, F(i), 504, 427 and 506(ii) PPC with town police station against the accused Tariq Baloch, Waja Baloch and two unknown persons however, town police did not reportedly nab any involved culprits . Meanwhile speaking at the joint press conference at local press club, Mohammad Hakeem, Salahuddin, Shakeel and others , all push cart owners accused that lawlessness has been increased in the city as daily armed motor cyclists were resorted firing and forced the shopkeepers to close their shutters . They alleged that different Bhatta Mafia gangs were supporting them  while police were paying their silence role as they could not arrest the few armed motor cyclists openly fires and forced the shopkeepers for closure of their shops. They alleged that some armed persons suddenly opened indiscriminate firing when pushcart owners refused them to give Bhatta as result stampede was occurred in local bazaars and markets and particularly women and children who were busy for Eid shopping were adversely affected and harassed. They said that local police had been failed to nab the armed person’s resorting daily heavy aerial firing in the city. They warned that case had been lodged with town police station and if the police were not arrested the involved culprits then they would be compel to observe strike in protest till Eid ul Fitre.
